They’re ready to hop to new channel

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan’s chat show is due to end on Channel 4 this summer, but it looks as if it might well find a new home.

The married couple are said to be in talks to deliver the same teatime format on another channel – with a £4m contract to run over 2 years.

‘We are talking to various different broadcasters about various different projects for post-September,’ an insider tells the Daily Mirror.

‘I’d be surprised if it didn’t continue in some form. That is what they are good at and that is what people want to watch them doing.’

Richard, 51, and Judy, 59, joined C4 in 2001 after over a decade presenting This Morning for ITV.
