Comments made by judge Rita Ora during The X Factor final that seem to be having a dig at host Olly Murs have gone viral

With surprise appearances from Craig David, an incredible close fight to the title and that Adele performance, we’re still on a high from this weekend’s awesome X Factor final.

But one person who’s probably feeling a little down about it all is Olly Murs, after judge Rita Ora burned him in a MAJOR way. Did you spot it? Well, the internet did – and can’t stop going on about it.

After performing a live duet with her act, Louisa Johnson – who, of course, went on to win this year’s competition – Rita grabbed the mic to heap praise on the talented teen.

With Olly and co-host Caroline Flack stood close at hand, Rita proclaimed: ‘Honestly, I’ve watched this show and I’ve been such a fan of this show, but there’s only two people that have made this impression and that’s Leona [Lewis] and Louisa. And that’s honest.’

Which was awkward all round, what with Olly having built his career on the back of his time as a finalist on the ITV show. Eek!

Despite looking a little hurt, the singer-turned-presenter looked a carried on as if nothing had happened – but social media users were quick to jump on the comments.

One fan of the Troublemaker star wrote: ‘I felt so sorry for Olly though when Rita said that the only people who have made an impression on the show are Leona and Louisa.’

But others found the whole thing rather amusing: ‘Rita Ora saying no X Factor contestant has mattered other than Leona while Olly Murs is stood 3 foot away from her. Amazing.’

And, of course, it wasn’t long before a comedy video of the moment popped up…

Poor Olly – between this and that Monica Michaels blunder, he hasn’t had the best of times recently, has he!? Bless.
