Singer set to be slated at NME awards

Robbie Williams may be doing well in rehab but, when it comes to his status in the music industry, he could be on a downer.

It looks like his latest release Rudebox is set to be elected Worst Album of 2006 at tonight’s NME Awards.

‘Readers have been clamouring to elect Robbie’s Rudebox as their Worst Album,’ NME editor Conor McNicholas says. ‘He’s not having a good time of it.’

Never mind, Robbie. At least you can comfort yourself with the fact you were up against the likes of Lily Allen, The Feeling, My Chemical Romance and Razorlight for the dubious honour.
