Brucie said to want comedian to take his place
Veteran comedian Ronnie Corbett is reportedly being lined up to replace Bruce Forsyth as the host of Strictly Come Dancing.
Bruce turns 80 next week and is said to be planning to step down as presenter of the hit series.
He’s believed to have told TV bosses that he wants close pal Ronnie, 76, to take over.
‘Bruce wants to leave the show in good hands and he is quite bullish about the fact that he wants a veteran household name to take his place,’ a source tells the Daily Star.
‘He’s already mentioned Ronnie to producers.’
