Stars pay tribute to the actor
Robin Williams has died at the age of 63.
The actor was found at his home in California following a 911 call yesterday and was pronounced dead at the scene, with Marin County Police believing that he took his own life.
‘At this time, the Sheriff’s Office Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia,’ police say in a statement to BBC News.
‘But a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made.’
Robin’s publicist has revealed that the Oscar-winning star had been battling ‘severe depression’ recently.
He leaves behind wife Susan Schneider, who he married in 2011, as well as his three children Zach, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22, from his previous marriages.
