Actor won't appear in The Three Stooges and Cartel
Sean Penn has shelved plans to star in two movies.
He has pulled out of The Three Stooges and Cartel, his rep confirms.
The star, 48, withdrew a petition to divorce his wife of 13 years, actress Robin Wright-Penn, 43, last month.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, he wants to concentrate on family matters.
Sean has already wrapped filming on The Tree of Life and Fair Game – which are yet to be released.
