Actress nourishes hungry child on charity mission

Salma Hayek breastfed a baby during a recent charity trip to Sierra Leone in Africa.

The child’s own mother had stopped lactacting, so Salma, 42, decided to nurse the boy herself.

‘The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother didn’t have milk,’ she tells US show Nightline. ‘He was very hungry.

‘I was weaning my daughter Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk that I was pumping, so I breastfed the baby.

‘When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.’

Salma has one-year-old daughter Valentina with ex-fiancé François-Henri Pinault, 46.
