Actress teams up with fairtrade brand

Emma Watson has created a knitwear range for British label People Tree.

The Harry Potter star helped design T-shirts, jersey dresses, poplin skirts and shorts for men and women.

I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to help alleviate poverty,’ says Emma.

I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion.’

Emma, 19, who is the face of Burberry, models her designs in the label’s catalogue.
