She’s keen to show off her moves for the Christmas show
Heather Mills is reportedly being lined up to appear on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas show.
The ex-glamour model, 39, appeared on Dancing With The Stars in America earlier this year and the BBC special will see US and UK celebrities compete.
Heather is keen to improve her public profile in the UK and believes getting back into a spangly costume will be good publicity. Especially if she’s partnered by snake-hipped lothario Brendan Cole.
‘Dancing With The Stars made Heather an unlikely celebrity in her own right in America,’ a source tells the Daily Mail.
‘Straight after she was offered countless chat shows, reality TV programmes and high-profile magazine interviews.
‘Heather approached producers and negotiated herself a £7,500 fee which she plans to give to animal rights charities.’
A BBC spokesman remained tight-lipped: ‘We are still in discussions for the show. Nothing has definitely been decided.’
Now that lawyers Mischon de Reya are no longer representing Heather, it’s likely that her divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney, 65, will now go to trial, reports the Times.
Unless Heather – who is representing herself – accepts the offer on the table, a trial will go ahead in February.
