Star would want to be closely monitored

Kym Marsh is worried about falling pregnant again after her third child was born prematurely.

The actress, 33, and ex-Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, 29, lost their son Archie in February after he arrived 18 weeks early.

Asked if she would be frightened to try again, she told This Morning: ‘Absolutely, yeah, and a lot of the ladies I spoke to felt the same way…

‘I would want to know that I was being looked after and steps were being taken to make sure they were monitoring me closely.’

Kym, who has two children from a previous relationship, has recorded a Tonight special for ITV to raise awareness of premature births.

‘If we can go some way to finding out why it’s happening maybe we can prevent it or at least delay it,’ she added.

Kym Marsh: Born Too Soon
is on ITV1 tonight at 8pm.
