But she denies this series will be her last
Sharon Osbourne is planning to leave The X Factor.
The 54-year-old has told pals she plans to quit at the end of this series.
Sharon wants to focus on other projects – including judging America’s Got Talent.
‘She’s fed up with Cowell trying to pit her against Dannii,’ a source tells the Sun. ‘She feels that it’s time to move on.’
But Mrs O hasn’t formally resigned.
‘Sharon hasn’t told any of the top brass about her intentions yet,’ says the insider.
‘She wanted to keep this quiet as she makes her final decision. But she’s now set to announce it in the second part of her autobiography. She hasn’t fallen out with anyone, but thinks it’s time to go.’
An X Factor spokesman denies the claims.
‘We are unaware of any wishes by Sharon to leave the series at the end of the year,’ he says.
And Sharon herself issued a statement today putting the record straight.
‘I have absolutely no plans to leave The X Factor at the end of the year, I’ve had great fun filming this year’s series and I’m really looking forward to the live shows,’ she says.
