A woman believed to be a neighbour of the Kardashians' loses her life in four-car pile-up involving Bruce Jenner
Bruce Jenner has been involved in a terrifying car crash which has left one woman dead.
The 65-year-old reality star crashed his Cadillac Escalade into the back of a Lexus on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Saturday just after the Lexus had hit a Toyota Prius in front. The Lexus then veered into another lane and was struck by a Hummer in the oncoming traffic.
It left the 70-year-old driver of the Lexus dead. Bruce managed to escape without injury but five children and two adults were taken to hospital after the horror collision.
According to reports on Mail Online, the victim was a neighbour of Bruce‘s stepdaughters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and lived in the same gated community in Los Angeles, but her identity has not yet been released.
Bruce – who is rumoured to be undergoing a sex change – was pictured taking a sobriety test at the scene, which police said he passed. They also confirmed that he had cooperated and offered a blood sample.
The former Olympian was dressed in a loose blue sweater teamed with baggy trousers and wore his long hair in a ponytail. He was eventually driven away from the tragic scene in a patrol car.
Whilst some reports suggested Bruce may have said he was being chased by nearby paparazzi at the time of the horror smash, an LA police spokesperson later said there was no evidence that this was the case. The incident is still being investigated.
Bruce‘s son Brody Jenner rushed to comfort his father after the frightening crash and his model daughter Kendall Jenner reportedly headed to Khloé‘s house, with a source claiming she ‘looked worried and panicked’ as she arrived.
The shocking incident comes amid continued speculation that Bruce is transitioning into a woman, something he has not confirmed or denied.
Stepdaughter Kim Kardashian recently hinted that the former athlete – who split from her mum Kris Jenner in 2013 – might be about to speak out on the rumours.
‘He’s our dad so we support him no matter what,’ Kim told Entertainment Tonight. ‘I think when the time is right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about.
‘I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way. I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.’
