Singer's apparently being treated at Beverly Hills hospital
Michael Jackson has reportedly developed an MRSA-type infection.
The singer, 50, was snapped outside a Beverly Hills hospital in a surgeon’s mask and cap.
He appeared to have a swollen cheek and inflamed skin on his hands.
‘Michael has a severe staph infection,’ a source tells The Sun.
‘The disease is an MRSA-style infection because it is resistant to conventional antibiotics, so he has been visiting a clinic to get antibiotics via an IV drip.
‘The infection has spread throughout his face and body and is being aggressively treated by doctors.
‘There’s a chance it could turn into a flesh-eating disorder where it begins to kill off his skin so he’s being very carefully monitored.’
A spokesman for the star was unavailable for comment on Wednesday night.
