Studio Warner Bros trying to remove 36-minute clip from file-sharing sites

An excerpt from the new Harry Potter film has been leaked online ahead of its cinema release.

Studio Warner Bros says a 36-clip was uploaded on file-sharing websites on Tuesday.

‘A portion of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part One was stolen and illegally posted on the internet,’ reads a statement.

‘This constitutes a serious breach of copyright and theft of Warner Bros property. We’re working actively to restrict and/or remove copies that may be available.

‘We are also vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law.’

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part One – starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson – is released in cinemas today.
