Pair rocked by blast while in Lake Como

George Clooney and Uma Thurman were luckily uninjured after a firework almost overturned a boat they were on over the weekend.

The pair were watching a 4th of July display with friends while floating on Lake Como, Italy, when a firework went off right next to them in the water.

The passengers – including George‘s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis – were snapped scrambling away from the blast, which rocked the boat.

No one was thought to have been injured, reports TMZ.

In April, World War II bombs were discovered just 45 feet away from Up In The Air actor George‘s Lake Como home.

An arsenal that included grenades and mortars was removed from the waters.

George, 49, bought the Lake Como property in 2002 for almost $10million.
