Bye bye Ken Morley - viewers, son and even his wife get calls answered as Coronation Street star is removed from Celebrity Big Brother 2015
He’s been offending everyone left right and centre. So it’s only fitting that Ken Morley has now been removed from the Celebrity Big Brother 2015 house for unacceptable and offensive language and behaviour.
Ofcomreceived 233 complaints about Ken‘s antics with scores of viewers calling for him to be kicked off the show on Twitter, and many saying they thought it was ‘disgusting’ he’d been allowed to stay on.
A statement just released from Channel 5says about Ken‘s removal: ‘Tuesday’s eviction is now cancelled and lines are now closed.
‘Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the Big Brother website within 24 hours.’
During Saturday night’s dramatic episode, Ken infuriated both his fellow housemates and anyone else watching with comments about women’s ‘a**es’.
He got a formal warning after using the word n***o in a conversation with American R&B singer Alexander O’Neal.
Ken attempted to defend himself because the word is Spanish but Alexander pointed out that he isn’t.
The Coronation Street actor was formally warned about offensive language during chats with Alexander and was called out over unacceptable sexually suggestive comments by fellow celebs.
The 71-year-old’s son, Roger, apparently posted an apology on behalf of his dad on Facebook at the weekend and even his wife reportedly called for his removal from the show.
He said he would like to apologise to anyone ‘offended by my dad’s behaviour’.
Ken is the second star to be booted off the show. Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson was thrown out on Saturday after pulling open Chloe Goodman‘s dressing gown.
The American actor, 34, got drunk on a mixture of rum and vodka before vomiting in the toilet and was being comforted by glamour model Chloe.
It wasn’t long before she suddenly exclaimed, ‘That’s not OK, I’m leaving now’, before exiting the bathroom in floods of tears.
She later revealed in the Diary Room: ‘He went to my dressing gown top and put my boob out.’
Jeremy at first defended himself, telling the housemates he ‘didn’t know she had nothing on underneath’ the robe.
After the incident on Friday, producers arranged for him to sleep in a separate area and then decided to remove him the following day, calling his behaviour ‘wholly unacceptable’.
