Good news all round!
After a rep for the E4 reality show revealed he’s ‘currently pursuing other opportunities’ as the rest of the cast begin filming series 11 without him, best pal Jamie, 27, has set the record straight on what exactly this means.
‘He’s coming back, 100%. He’s coming back,’ he sternly told Now at the European premiere of How To Be Single on Tuesday night. ‘The door is always open for him. Spenny’s crucial to the Made In Chelsea family. He’s coming back, he’s not going to leave.’
The bleached blonde star also revealed how he reached out to Spencer following the news of his temporary departure breaking, adding: ‘He’s my best mate so I spoke to him and tried to persuade him [not to leave]. I think it’s all a bit of “this and that” right now.’
Spencer, who is arguably one of MIC’s most memorable cast members, first caused concern about his future in television after he sensationally quit I’m A Celebrity due to a ‘steroid addiction’ in December. Since then he’s shied away from the public eye completely while carrying out charity work abroad.
It’ll be good to see you on our screens again, Spenny!
