Fashion designer is the latest Mr Men character
Stella McCartney has become the 84th Mr Men and Little Miss character.
The daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is the first ‘real’ person to be made into a Little Miss character in the book Little Miss Stella.
Stella, 35, teamed up with Adam Hargreaves, son of Mr Men creator Roger, for the children’s book.
In the story Little Miss Stella meets Little Miss Nobody, who is so unfashionable that everyone ignores her. But Little Miss Stella designs her a suit and transforms her into a ‘somebody’.
Just 1,000 copies of the story were produced as invites to Stella’s spring/summer 2007 fashion show in Paris this week.
The Mr Men series, which includes characters such as Mr Bump, Mr Tickle and Mr Strong, was created in 1971 by Roger Hargreaves.
