Steph is set to 'raise the baby alone' as former love Jez 'doesn't believe that she is pregnant'
When Stephanie Davis appeared to reveal she was pregnant with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell‘s baby, there were plenty of people – including apparent baby-daddy-to-be Jez – who couldn’t quite believe the new. But this latest twist may just silence those doubters…
According to a source close to the former Hollyoaks actress, three separate tests have proved that Steph is ‘in the family way’, as our nan would say – but revealed that Jeremy is refusing to see his former love.
The source told the Mirror: ‘She was shocked when she discovered she was pregnant, they hadn’t been trying but they hadn’t exactly been careful.
‘Stephanie was desperate to see Jeremy and break the news face to face. He point blank refused – in fact – he doesn’t believe that she is pregnant and it’s breaking her heart.’
The insider added: ‘She is determined to raise the child alone. Hopefully this will sort her head out – she has just been left to cope with this all by herself. Jeremy won’t take her calls.’
Stephanie – who met and fell for Jeremy when they both appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year – seemed to announce her pregnancy in a now-deleted comment on one of Jeremy’s social media photos on Sunday night.
Steph, 23, had written in the comments of one of Jez’s pictures: ‘Find out I’m pregnant and he says he doesn’t love me anymore and blocked. Heartbroken. Pain I can’t understand or deal with… Is what [I’m going] through now. Utter heart break.’
She quit Twitter soon after, but broke her silence two days later – just as Jez did the same.
Stress I’ve been under don’t know how I’m standing. #alwaystheselfishpeopleonlyseewhattheycause,’ the star cryptically wrote.
Steph wasn’t finished there and posted another Tweet a few hours later reading: ‘Iva blue 💙’ – which some social media users believe
Meanwhile Jeremy, 26, also hit Twitter last night amid the unfolding drama to share a similarly cryptic message, writing: ‘The loudest in the room is weakest.’
Ooh it’s all very mysterious, isn’t it? We wish we could go back to the good old days…
