It seems Ola Jordan is going to 'Keeeeep dancing' despite facing backlash last year and being told by doctors that she may never dance again

The Strictly Come Dancing professional line up has just been released and we’re glad to say some of our favourite and familiar faces are back, including Ola Jordan who was rumoured to have hung up her sequins for good.

Ola – who is married to former Strictly star, James Jordan – had a bit of a rough ride on last year’s show, when she was accused of bullying partner Steve Backshall.

A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Steve is a very bouncy personality, up for any challenge, but Ola‘s harsh treatment has flattened him and made him lose confidence.

‘She was very rude and impatient when he found it difficult to master the shapes for the Charleston.

‘Her choreography and tuition was so tough, Steve resorted to asking other people to show him what he had to do.

Ola is a cold and very distant personality, who refuses to mix with Steve‘s family and friends,’ the source added.

Ola faced backlash from fans of the show and at the time Ola‘s husband, James, defended his wife on Twitter stating that Ola didn’t have ‘a bad bone in her body’.

Following this, reports were rife that she was quitting the BBC show for good to secure a deal with Channel 4, which she denied.

It then emerged that Ola was training to take part on the winter sports reality show, The Jump.

But her time was cut short when the 32-year-old suffered a devastating injury while on skis.

The injury, a ‘freak accident’ following her attempt to navigate a downward slope without poles, ruled Ola out of the show before it aired and she was quickly replaced by Chloe Madeley. Ola – who has been dancing since the age of 12 – was out of action for nine months.

It was feared by many that she ‘may never dance again’ but after an operation on her knee, and some intense physiotherapy, she has thankfully made a full recovery.

We’re glad to have you back, Ola!
