Cheryl supported Kimberley Walsh last year

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to be keen to sign up Cheryl Cole and Tulisa Contostavlos as contestants for the next series.

Cheryl, 29, was often seen in the audience supporting her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh last year and she’s a big fan of the show.

‘She was completely entranced by the dancing,’ a BBC source tells the Daily Express.

‘She’s an enormous fan, and I think watching Kimberley made her keener than ever. It would be a great coup if we got her.’

It’s believed that Strictly bigwigs are also considering former X Factor judge Tulisa, 24, despite her being on bail after she was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

‘This could be the ideal way for her to make a fresh start,’ the insider says.

Other names reportedly in the frame include retired footballer Fabrice Muamba and MP Nadine Dorries, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity last year.

The 11th series of Strictly is due to begin in late September.
