Dancer James Jordan has come out fighting after Strictly Come Dancing's Craig Revel Horwood labelled his wife Ola Jordan's sexy calendar as 'inappropriate'
The long-running feud between Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood and James Jordan has flared up once again after Craig criticised the former dancer’s wife Ola Jordan for her sexy Christmas calendar.
James blasted ‘vile’ Craig as he hit back at comments the judge made saying Strictly was a ‘family show’ and that racy shots of Ola pouring milk all over herself with her legs spread’ were inappropriate.
Furious James told Best: ‘How can he say it’s not OK to sell a sexy Christmas calendar, but it is OK to sell his own book telling the world he was a drunken rent boy, and call it All Balls and Glitter?
‘Innuendo, anyone? Is that what a ‘family show’ is all about, Craig?’
The 37 year old – who was a dancer on the show from 2006 to 2013 – added: ‘I’m pretty sure if one of the male dancers had brought out a calendar pouring milk over himself, he wouldn’t have reacted in the same way.’
James went on to argue that Ola – who was voted off the current series of the BBC show with her partner Iwan Thomas in the first week of voting – did the sexy calendar shoot because she needed the cash, and highlighted the difference in pay between Strictly’s professional dancers and the judging panel.
‘Like most of the dancers on Strictly, Ola has to earn money,’ he said.
‘We have bills to pay and, I can assure you, the professional dancers are paid a lot less than the panel for working flipping hard .
‘They are training for up to 14 hours a day. Meanwhile, the judges are reportedly get £110,000 for one day a week.’
James went on to claim that Craig was ‘vile’ when he drank.
He said: ‘I have witnessed Craig – drunk – on a cruise.
‘He was shouting and slurring, ‘Who the hell would want to read Len Goodman’s book? Who cares about that old man’s life?”
He added: ‘He then went on to be equally vile about Arlene Phillips, my friend Brendan Cole and Kristina Rihanoff.
‘I stood up, used a lot of nasty words, and left. Laughably, I was reprimanded by the BBC for being out of order to him.’
James set sail with Craig and other Strictly stars in 2012, as part of a BBC Worldwide deal with P&O Cruises.
A BBC Worldwide source told The Mirror: ‘Craig is immensely popular and from all of the feedback from holidaymakers, he is really highly regarded.
‘Everyone on the cruise has always behaved with the utmost professionalism.’
James and Craig’s feud has been running for a number of years both on- and off-screen, with viewers seeing them clash during the show a number of times.
OK, let’s just have a Craig vs James dance-off and settle this once and for all, shall we?
