Craig Revel Horwood is certainly not the nicest of the Strictly judges - but he's already taking bets on who he reckons will make it to the final!

He is not known for holding back on the judging panel, but Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood, 50, has admitted he is convinced that Peter Andre will sail through to the final. Hurrah!

Although there are a variety of big stars who are hot favouries to excel on the glitzy show this year, Craig seems to think that no one will be able to compete with Peter, 42.

The outspoken judge is basing his bold opinion on the pop singer’s huge fan base.

He said: ‘I’ve only seen them dance the opening, and some people can and some people can’t. But I think Peter Andre has a very good chance of getting to the final. People love him, he’s extremely popular’.

The Strictly judge reckons that Peter will be victorious even if other contestants are technically better dancers.

But with stars like Georgia May Foote, Kirsty Gallacher, Jamelia and Jay McGuiness on board, surely Pete isn’t going to find it as easy as Craig thinks?

It isn’t just Craig who is singing Pete’s praises. The Mysterious Girl singer was the bookies favourite before he was even confirmed as a contestant!

However, the dad-of-three doesn’t seem to agree, and has already revealed that he is worried about the fierce competition. He said: ‘Helen George already looks like a professional and Jamelia has the hips for dancing. Both the male and female pro dancers are incredible’.

Last weekend the Strictly launch show saw the celebs being paired off with the profesionals and Peter was lucky enough to be put with the gorgeous Janette Manrara – let’s hope she can help him waltz his way to the glitterball trophy!
Make sure you catch Strictly Come Dancing on BBC1 on the 25th and 26th of September to see if Peter can live up to expectations!
