Strictly Come Dancing star Laura Whitmore tells Now she’s terrified about getting on the dancefloor

She’s one of the frontrunners for the Glitter Ball trophy but it seems right now, Laura Whitmore doesn’t think she stands a chance in the BBC dancing competition. Speaking to Now inside the Mahiki VIP area at V Festival, Laura admits: ‘I’m sh*tting it, I’m nervous – I’m everything you can imagine about Strictly. I’m so out of my depth.’

Although she’s nervous, the former I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here Now presenter is looking forward to the challenge. ‘I’ve always danced, not professionally of course but I’ve always done it,’ Laura explains.

‘I’m crazy dancing Laura. I’m always dancing it’s just that I haven’t honed those skills yet. I don’t have those disciplines – I’m so excited to learn.’

She adds: ‘Taking part in Strictly, you get the chance to train with a professional every single day – it’s amazing. My friends and family tell me they’d pay anything to be able to have that chance.’

We’re sure she’s going to smash it!
