This trio have confirmed that they will take to the stage to perform with the X Factor finalists this weekend!
The trio pre-recorded their performance for the hit BBC One dance show last week, to be aired at next week’s finals, and have confirmed that they will be heading to Wembley Arena on Saturday to sing with the final three contestants.
Former X Factor judge, Gary Barlow, will be joined by band mates Mark Owen and Howard Donald to sing their 2007 hit Rule The World with Andrea Faustini, Ben Haenow and Fleur East.
Their performance comes less than three weeks after the group last appeared on the show, when they performed their latest single These Days.
After live shows this year including One Direction, Taylor Swift, Labrinth and Pharrell Williams, X Factor bosses have apparently struggled to find a stellar act to fill the final line-up. According to reports, the suggestion of Madonna was being thrown about at one point!
The Patience singers will be joined by a whole host of pop sensations this weekend including Olly Murs, Meghan Trainor, Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
But the question on everybody’s lips is – which contestants will they be dueting with?
Will a Sam Smith and Andrea Faustini ballad-off be on the cards, or will a Fleur East and Meghan Trainor duo steal the show and get the judges on their feet? We’re already dreaming about a potential serenading from Ben Haenow and Ed Sheeran (be still our beating hearts).
Both Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran are up for Best British Artist at the inaugural BBC Music Awards on December 11, so by the time they perform, one will have been crowned. Let’s hope the winner has some handy tips for this year’s X Factor king or queen!
