From Angelina Jolie being a bitch to Channing Tatum being awesome...

Sony Pictures have endured weeks of emails being hacked with some of the most salacious conversations being made public.

Following threats of terror from the hackers – who the FBI believe is North KoreaSony decided not to go ahead with the release of the film, The Interview. It was a controversial decision but one that potentially stopped these unknown hackers from going through with some very serious threats.

In the leaked emails that go between bigwigs such as the likes of producer Scott Rudin and Sony Pictures Co-Chairman Amy Pascal an array of celebrities are gossiped about in the same way that anyone who’s had a right bitch about office politics or a colleague wind them up would know.

So apologies Angelina Jolie et al, we’re not going to let this embarrassment go away just yet. From the hilarious, to the downright controversial here are our eight most shocking moments…

1) Angelina Jolie called a ‘minimally talented spoiled brat’

Speaking of Angeina‘s Cleopatra film project that never took off, Scott Rudin said: ‘There is no movie of Cleopatra to be made (and how that is a bad thing given the insanity and rampaging ego of this woman and the cost of the movie is beyond me).’

In a second email the hate continued, with Scott ranting that she was: ‘a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie [Unbroken]… She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming.’

In later emails about the film Ang was described as being ‘seriously out of her mind.’ Ouch.

2) Racism throughout the world revealed in Denzil Washington casting

While the unnamed producer in these leaked emails was not at all being racist towards the actor, he did raise a very bleak point that in other countries a black actor will not attract audiences. He said: ‘I am not saying The Equalizer should not have been made or that African American actors should not have been used (I personally think Denzel Washington is the best actor of his generation). I believe that the international motion picture audience is racist – in general pictures with an African American lead don’t play well overseas.’ Sad times.

3) Who’s Michael Fassbender?

When Oscar winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin found out the GORGEOUS Mr. Fassbender had been cast in Steve Jobs biopic his response wasn’t too flattering… ‘This used to be an event. I don’t know who Michael Fassbender is and the rest of the world isn’t going to care.’
Don’t be too sad though Fasso, at least you got this backhanded compliment from producer Michael De Luca: ‘[He] makes you feel bad to have normal sized genitalia.’

4) Jennifer Lawrence paid less than male co-stars

Actors’ pay is set on a points percentage system and emails between Sony revealed that Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence would receive ‘5 points’ American while her American Hustle male co-stars Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner and Christian Bale, were to receive 9 percent of profits. Looks like Hollywood has a long way to go in terms of sexism.

5) Sony execs think the Smith kids are weird too

It’s not just us normal folk who couldn’t understand Jaden and Willow Smith’s totally out there interview, two of the groups’ leading chairmen had their heads in a spin too. An email headed ‘Jaden and Willow Smith on Prana Energy, Time and Why School Is Overated’ simply read:

1. Read this.
2. they r home schooled: don’t let this family date your movies!!!’

6) Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t too popular

After Leo pulled out of the Steve Jobs biopic because ‘he changed his mind’, Mark Gordon the producer called it ‘horrible behavior’, while Amy Pascal said he was ‘absolutely despicable.’

7) George Clooney predicted this would happen

Oh yet another reason why we should ALWAYS listen to George. In December 2011 the actor sent an email with the subject line: ‘Knowing this email is being hacked’ and continued in the body: ‘And for those of you listening in… I’m the son of a news man… Everything will be double sourced… so come on with your lawsuits… f*ckers.’ We love it when George swears.

8) Channing Tattum sends the best emails ever…

When the UTTER FITTY found out that his film 22 Jump Street had become the second highest grossing R-rated comedy of all time, knocking Ted off the spot, his response was priceless.
