As Benedict Cumberbatch comes closer to his big day, there's plenty of drama!
After announcing their engagement through a notice in The Times, it seemed Oscar nominee Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancée Sophie Hunter were taking the traditional route when it came to planning their wedding.
However, with a pregnancy announcement following just two months later – the pair now appear to be in a desperate rush to get the big day out the way as soon as possible.
Reports state the pair want to be married before Sophie gives birth this summer. Speedy!
According to a source close to the couple – they’ve even opted to send out their wedding invites out via email to move things along.
‘The details have been sent out in an email rather than a paper invitation as time is of the essence,’ an insider told The Sunday Mirror. ‘The invitations have been limited to family and close friends, all of whom have been sworn to secrecy about the location of the ceremony.’
Er, how modern?
What next, a Facebook event page to RSVP and a Tweet to state your food preference for the reception?
‘RT if you’d like the chicken, favourite for the vegetarian option.’ Tee-hee just kidding you guys…
Although there may be a rush on, the only thing we know for certain about the top secret ceremony is it’s certainly going to be star studded.
With Benedict‘s close friends ranging from Keira Knightley to BFF Tom Hiddleston, who is looking likely to take on his most challenging role so far for the big day… the best man.
Recently gushing the Sherlock star ‘is his best friend’ and ‘it’s as simple as that’.
