Is pregnant Frankie Bridge's hubby about to follow in her Strictly footsteps?
The Saturdays singer has revealed the her retired footballer hubby Wayne quite fancies his chances on the show, though it sounds like he’d feel a bit bad if he got further than his wife did!
‘While I was doing Strictly, he’d get my dance partner [Kevin Clifton] to show him a few little moves,’ says Frankie, 26.
‘He does enjoy it and threatens to go on the show later this year but, whether he will or not, I’m not sure.
‘He says that, if he won, it would be really unfair on me because I came second!’
We know that Frankie can move but Wayne, 34, isn’t too shabby either apparently.
‘He’s not terrible, but he’s better after a drink!’ Frankie admits. ‘Being a sportsman, he’s already quite coordinated.’
The pretty star – who is expecting her second child with Wayne, a sibling for their one-year-old son Parker – still has the fondest memories of her time on Strictly so it’s unsurprising that Wayne is quite keen on taking part himself.
‘It was amazing but intense,’ explains Frankie. ‘I’d always wanted to do it, so I was in my element.
‘It wasn’t about me trying to make everything perfect about my dances, I just wanted to enjoy it and for the viewers to enjoy it too.’
This year might not be the most convenient time for Wayne to go on Strictly. With his and Frankie‘s new arrival on the way, he’ll probably be needed for parenting duties at home!
Luckily though Frankie isn’t panicking about having two children under two and thinks she’ll be even more laid-back this time around.
‘You just figure it out as you go along,’ the singer tells TV Extra.
‘I think second time around I’m even more relaxed. I’m just going to enjoy it more.’
