Looks like we're in for some memorable performances...

The X Factor final is famed for its starry duets and now the famous names performing with this year’s contestants have been revealed!

2016 finalists Saara Aalto, Matt Terry and 5 After Midnight will reportedly be joined by Adam Lambert, James Arthur and The Weeknd when they take to the stage for one last time this weekend in the hope of becoming X Factor winner.

Simon Cowell on how he’d feel about non-Brit Saara Aalto winning The X Factor

Sharon Osbourne’s act Saara is teaming up with former American Idol star Adam, according to The Sun, while Nicole Scherzinger’s Matt is set to sing alongside X Factor 2012 champ James.

Louis Walsh looks to have made the biggest coup though by getting his group 5AM a HUGE name in the form of The Weeknd, who most recently performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Impressive stuff.

It’s thought that Simon Cowell had originally wanted James to duet with his act Emily Middlemas should she reach the final but, with the teen star eliminated from the competition on the weekend, he’s now set to help his own former mentor Nicole out instead.

There’s been no official confirmation on the names from an X Factor spokesperson but Twitter is already getting pretty excited about the alleged line-up.

‘WOW is it true @saaraaalto will duet with the AMAZING @Adamlambert that will be so exciting, powerful and flamboyant! #XFactor @TheXFactor,’ one fan wrote.

Meanwhile another posted: ‘I pray to god matt’s duet with James Arthur is not a rumour it needs to happen #XFactor’

One viewer was pretty impressed by American stars Adam and The Weeknd – but less so with James.

‘Xfactor finalists get to duet with Adam Lambert, The Weeknd, and one poor sod gets James Arthur,’ the Twitter user posted. Ouch.

Well it is perhaps a far cry from some of the MASSIVE stars who’ve been signed up for the duets in the past – remember Beyoncé joining Alexandra Burke? Rihanna teaming up with Matt Cardle?

Still, most fans seem pretty excited about it and it sounds like we could be in for some very memorable performances!
