Christmas time is always a period of high emotion – and in the world of TOWIE, this is, of course, no different.

And this year round, it has the potential to be one of the most explosive festive editions yet, as Bobby Norris insults his fiery bestie Gemma Collins over dinner – first about her age, and then about her ovaries… yikes!

In this year’s Christmassy outing for the ITVBe favourite, TOWIE shows some of the cast getting together for a lovely meal as a family. Newly returned Lauren Goodger joins the besties for a nut roast, along with Lydia Bright, and it’s all a lovely affair.

That is, until Bobby mocks Gemma’s crush on Jon Clark as the result of a mid-life crisis…

Meanwhile, there’s the threat of drama from reunited couple Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks. They’ve safely put the drama of last series’ sexting scandal behind them, and are officially back to being boyfriend and girlfriend, and giving us cute picture moments that warrant genuine ‘couple goals’ comments.

Pete even spent time with the rest of the McKennas – and doesn’t it seem as if he fits in perfectly?

However, this might all be disrupted when he tells Megan his plans for a lads’ trip to Liverpool with the newly-single James ‘Lockie’ Lock… has Megan forgiven and forgotten enough to let him go?
