Singer had no information that could assist police
Robbie Williams was quizzed by cops investigating an armed robbery in the Bahamas yesterday – but he was unable to help.
Photographers Matt Sanchez and Carlos Mendez were held at gunpoint in their cottage in Staniel Cay by three men on Sunday.
Hours earlier, the pair had taken snaps of Robbie, 35, at a nearby beach.
Police have been interviewing holidaymakers – including the singer – who were at the resort to find out if they saw anything suspicious.
Robbie, who is not being treated as a suspect, had no useful information.
‘We spoke to Mr Williams,’ Criminal Investigation Department head Elsworth Moss tells The Sun. ‘There is nothing that was able to assist us.’
Three local men have been arrested, but were released without charge.
