The Loose Women star has been caught out - and isn't ashamed

Vicky Pattison has slammed Instagram users for criticising her use of filters and editing apps on her photos.

The former Geordie Shore star hit out during a discussion on Loose Women today where she openly admitted to enhancing pictures of herself, something that various social media fans have slated her for.

Vicky Pattison lands new TV show – but it could be awks!

Vicky, 28, isn’t fazed by her critics though and says she’s not ashamed of what she does.

‘Occasionally when I’ve got my make-up done, I will airbrush a couple of wrinkles out,’ she said.

‘I love a filter. People call us out for it on Instagram but I’m like “yeah, I have Facetuned it”! I’m proud of it!’

Go, Vic! Ms Pattison even put her editing skills to the test by using a beauty app to enhance pictures of her fellow panellists Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter.

The Newcastle lass’s honesty was praised by viewers, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Absolutely love @VickyPattison she says it as it is. Power to her #class’

Another wrote: ‘@VickyPattison @loosewomen on point on loose women today. who cares if you’re high maintenance and use filters’

Vicky might regularly share airbrushed selfies and edited snaps but she likes to keep a nice balance when it comes to her Instagram pictures.

The reality star admitted on the show that she doesn’t always enhance her photos and actually posts some rather unflattering ones sometimes.

‘I like to have a mixture of pictures on my social media,’ she explained.

‘[I could be] sweating after the gym, or hungover.’

Awww, we do love you for that, Vicky!

The straight-talking star didn’t just get honest about her Instagram snaps on the show – she also confessed that she’s quite a high maintenance gal in general.

‘I’m high maintenance across the board,’ the brunette babe revealed. ‘I demand a lot from the people I’m with.’

We can always rely on Vicky to tell it as it is, eh?
