International DJ legends Mark Ronson and A-Trak to headline Virgin Media's Our House at V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex.

Virgin Media’s Our House at V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex, has released an exciting headlining duo act that will leave the crowd shuffle happy.

DJ legend Mark Ronson, 39, and Canadian turntablist A-Trak, 33, are ones to watch out for this year with their exclusive debut on Sunday the 23rd of August.

The ‘Uptown Funk’ star is an English musician, Dj, singer and record producer who earlier this year won a Brit Award for his collaboration with Bruno Mars.

A-Trak (Alain Macklovitch) has also had his fair share of success. In 2004 he was Kanye West’s personal tour DJ. You can’t get any cooler than that right? A-Trak is also the owner of the record label Fool’s Gold.

The international duo, have some serious experience under their belts and it sure won’t take much effort to get the crowd pumping.

Mark Ronson says: “I became a DJ because I fell in love with hip-hop, while growing up in New York and listening to all the legendary NY DJ’s, like Red Alert, Funk Flex & Stretch Armstrong.

I wanted to bring a taste of that musical heritage to V Festival this year. I cannot wait to perform on Virgin Media’s Our House stage with my homeboy A-Trak – it’s going to be LIVE!”

The Our House stage is inspired by old school block party and has a whole load of V Fest exclusives including Grime artist Skepta (Boy Better Know), Stone’s Throw boss Peanut Butter Wolf in tandem with Breakbeat Lou, 3 x DMC world Champion Craze, East-London collective Work It with Siobhan Bell and DJ A Skillz.

The drum ‘n’ bass DJ Goldie and once in a lifetime hip-hop set from MC GQ will also take to the stage.

Don’t worry V Fest Staffordshire because your exclusive headliner will also be a right treat with a DJ set from Jungle!

Gutted you can’t make it? No worries, the DJ’s set will be live-streamed to ensure all the music lovers can catch it on Virgin Media’s YouTube. The four cameras ensure that you will never miss a beat.

Campers… Virgin Media is even providing free WiFi at both V Fest sites. Don’t forget to take a snap and share the amazing weekend of music.
