Alex Reid invited Now to his home to record a special video for his ex wife Katie Price - with tips on how to win Celebrity Big Brother
Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid has recorded a heartfelt video message to his ex wife – and new contestant – Katie Price.
Opening up about their most candid moments as a couple, he pleaded with Katie to show her most vulnerable side for the remaining two weeks of the show.
Inviting Now into his home, he said: ‘The Katie I loved, she’s a winner. Yes you can be a superbitch and I’ve suffered your wrath and that’s going to be exciting, so show a little bit of that, but keep some of it under wraps.’
Alex, who won CBB with the biggest votes the show has received to date in 2010, said Katie should let the public know how vulnerable she really is.
Incredibly Alex reached out to Katie to put any bad blood between them firmly behind them, and he has invited Katie to his engagement party to his new fiancé Nikki Manashe, we can exclusively reveal.
Talking about their most intimate moments as a couple an emotional Alex reflected: ‘I really did love you and I’ll always have a fondness in my heart for you.’
But during their marriage Alex was privy to another side of Katie – when the famous Jordan (or ‘Lady J’ as he likes to call her) came out to play.
Encouraging his ex to get stuck in to the booze allowance when it gets brought out, Alex said: ‘Ooh Lady J, she’s fun. But we have to reign it in a little bit because with the fun comes a car crash.’
He also had some, um, unusual advice for Katie on what underwear she should wear.
Alex, 39, who married Katie four days after he won the series in 2010, separated from the former glamour model a year later.
Although he is happy in his new life now, he looks back fondly on their time together and told us he has let go of the pain.
He said in his message to Katie: ‘I can see how serious you are with your new husband Kieran and you’ve got something good going on there.’ Adding: ‘In my heart I really wish you well.’
Remeber this isn’t Alex’s first video message to one of the women he loves – in 2012 the cage fighter filmed this emotional plea to ex girlfriend Chantelle Houghton.
