Fancy a cinema date with Prince Harry? Er, so do we! Find out what film he saw here

He may be one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, but that didn’t stop Prince Harry flying solo on Tuesday during a date night – with himself – at Cineworld in Nottingham.

Sadly, it all took place while we were just sat at home doing nothing and would have jumped at an invite. Maybe next time eh, Haz?

As the lone Prince made his way through the connecting shopping centre to the cinema – and passed a Subway sandwich shop on the way (pre-movie foot-long anyone?) – Twitter was spammed with shocked pictures from shoppers.

With word then spreading online, Haz wasn’t short of offers from local ladies wanting to join him.

‘Very insulted that Prince Harry went to the cinema in Nottingham without me tonight…didn’t he know it was date night?! #PrinceHarry [sic],’ Anna-Marie Edwards wrote on Twitter.

However, the single Prince wasn’t in the city looking for love, he was there on official Royal business.

In May 2014, Harry launched the Full Effect Youth Project in association with his charity The Royal Foundation. And with part of the project training youths interested in media to produce broadcast quality films, the Prince swung by to check out the results at a premiere.

Choosing to check out movie Guillemot, which is described as ‘a bittersweet tale of young romance set against the backdrop of peers, pressure and a brutally adult world’, 16-year-old producer Danny Mulvany gushed it was ‘an honour’ to meet the Prince.

The film in question is available to view in full length on YouTube, which is probably for the best since Harry must have forgotten our invite to the screening.
