Did Georgia May Foote already know about Sean Ward's dramatic Coronation Street ending? Doesn't sound like it!

Coronation Street fans are still reeling this morning after seeing the dramatic Callum vs the Platts storyline come to a head in last night’s AMAZING live episode.

9 things to know about Georgia May Foote

Viewers watched as *SPOILER ALERT* Sean Ward’s bad boy character Callum Logan was KILLED by Kylie (Paula Lane) as he tried to attack Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

Then a whole debacle ensued where David (Jack P Shepherd) tried to help them hide Callum’s body and they ended up putting him under the floorboards in the garage until the morning (let’s hope Gail doesn’t notice).

It was all very exciting for Corrie fans, many of whom praised the quality acting of the stars. Lots of viewers were also left stunned by Callum’s abrupt ending – including actor Sean’s own GIRLFRIEND Georgia May Foote!

Georgia – who left her role as Katy Armstrong in the soap earlier this year – was gobsmacked by what happened and shared her amusing reaction on Twitter.

Awww, don’t worry, Georgia! He’s okay really!

We don’t blame Strictly Come Dancing star Georgia, 24, for being a bit shocked by Callum’s dramatic death. Sean admitted in a post-episode interview that he hoped Coronation Street fans would be stunned by the scenes.

‘I hope it was a big shock, I really do,’ he said in the ITV chat. ‘You want viewers to have a reaction to it, so I hope they were shocked and that it was unexpected.’

He’s also confessed that impressively he managed to keep the juicy secret of Callum’s exit to himself. So was Georgia in the dark too?

‘For me it was quite easy [to keep it a secret],’ Sean explains. ‘I didn’t tell anyone apart from my immediate family.’

Sean’s powerful performance clearly made girlfriend Georgia very proud. The actress cutely re-Tweeted several messages praising her man’s acting skills, with fans calling him ‘amazing’ and ‘a great villain’.

Now it’s time for Sean to get behind former Coronation Street star Georgia as she prepares for the first live Strictly shows this weekend. Good luck, G!
