Round The Twist was our number one 90s kid's show!

Ever wondered what happened to the cast of Round The Twist? Let us reveal all…

Talk about nostalgia!

*Sings* ‘Have you ever, ever felt like this? Strange things happen, going round the twist?’ The hit Aussie kids show, which aired here in the 90s, was set in a lighthouse and depicted the wacky goings on in the lives of the Twist family – dad Tony and his three kids Pete, Linda and Bronson.

Whatever Happened To…? Former Coronation Street star Jacqueline Pirie

Where are they now?

Tamsin West, who originally played Linda, only appeared in the first series but sang the theme tune. She got another stab at fame as Emma Gordon in Neighbours, but put her acting career on the back burner in 1995. Now 41, she’s mum to daughter Indianna, five, with husband Jason Downes. She was replaced on the show by Joelene Crnogorac. After Round The Twist she appeared in Aussie series Snowy River: The McGregor Saga and Ocean Girl, plus Neighbours. Now 36, according to Facebook she married in 2010.

Wasn’t Linda a twin?

Yes. Sam Vandenberg played her twin Pete – who can forget his blond curtains? Now 41, he left the show in 1989 and wasn’t seen on TV again until 1995 in Blue Heelers. He was also in covers band 80s Enough, but has now disappeared from the public eye.

And the other Twist kid?

Youngest child Bronson was originally played by Rodney McLennan, who married his high-school sweetheart at 21 but is no longer in showbiz. Jeffrey Walker took over for the second series. He’s since directed episodes of Home And Away, Neighbours and more recently Modern Family. Now 33, he’s married to actress Brooke Harman and they live in the US with sons Boston, two, and two-month-old Ace.

What about dad Tony?

Richard Moir, now 64, played Tony for two series, then Andrew Gilbert took over. Andrew’s acted in films such as Dirty Deeds, Look Both Ways and 2013’s Backyard Ashes. But Richard’s career ended after his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease in 1990. Richard has two children with his ex-wife Julie Nihill and will keep fighting the disease for their sake, saying: ‘I owe it to myself and everyone around me.’
