Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hitched. But just who got in on the wedding action?
When news broke yesterday that the two had got married in a secret ceremony at their chataeu in the south of France at the weekend we were desperate to know who the hell was lucky enough to get an invite – and a slice of Brange wedding cake.
According to sources there were only 22 people in attendance, making their big day so exclusive it was just one notch above an elopement.
So what do we know about these Chosen Ones? Well the majority of them were Brad’s family, in fact Angie didn’t even tell her dad Jon Voight that she was getting married. Ouch.
With Jon off the list and it looking likely that her brother James Haven was too, just who DID make the cut?
We take a look at their guest list…
Their six kids: Angelina walked down the aisle with Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, on each arm, while Zahara, nine, and Vivienne, six, threw petals and Shiloh, eight, and Knox, six, were ring-bearers.
Bill and Jane Pitt: So Angie’s pops might not have been there but the people who created the Brad Pitt gene pool certainly were. There have been rumours in the past that Angelina doesn’t get on with Brad’s conservative mother, but they obviously put aside any tensions for the big day.
Douglas Pitt’s family: The man who’s actually called Dug Pit was there with his wife Lisa and three children, Landan, Reagan and Sydney.
Brad’s sister Julie Neal: It’s believed Julie was there with own large family in tow. Her and husband Rob have three children, Caleb, twin daughters Rylie and Josie, and two sons they adopted from Ethiopia, Cruz and Caden.
The Judge: No this isn’t the name of some nineties wrestler, but the judge who officially married the couple in California. Legalities meant that they had to get their marriage license there before they could wed in France, and the judge who gave them that was there to oversee the civil French ceremony.
Robert Procop: Robert’s a close friend of the pair and made Angelina’s 16-carat, emerald cut, diamond engement ring, that’s estimated to be worth $500,000.
He also designed their wedding bands – Brad’s has been spotted wearing his already and the gold ring is believed to be worth $10,000, which has been described as ‘surprisingly modest’.
So there you have it, the 12 people lucky enough to have seen Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt say ‘I Do’. We will add to this list as more news comes in.
In the meantime, we wonder who was on the dance floor first? Our money’s on Doug getting down to Come On Eileen.
