Broody Becks is keen to have another little girl
When David Beckham, who turns 40 today, posted a throwback photo of himself and toddler Brooklyn wearing matching football kits, it was clear the doting dad’s struggling to come to terms with his children – Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, three – growing up.
He’s reportedly desperate to extend his big family by adding a fifth baby to the Beckham bunch.
But with mum Victoria, 41, busy travelling the world for her fashion career, she’s said to be less enthusiastic.
‘David’s the one keen on more children this time around and would love a little girl so Harper has a sister,’ a source tells Now. ‘He misses those days when the Beckhams were more of a family unit – basically, with Victoria being around more. He’s also really broody around other people’s young children.’
David, who says his priority ‘always will be’ his children, admitted after Harper was born that he and Victoria ‘might have one or two more [kids]’. Will he get his birthday wish?
The Beckhams are currently in Morocco, preparing to host one helluva showbiz party to celebrate David’s big 4-0. Celebrity guests are expected to include Gordon Ramsay and wife Tana, best friend Dave Garner and girlfriend Liv Tyler, James Corden and Tom Cruise.
