Wills and Kate's garden is awash

Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived late at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday to watch the rugby because of the terrible weather.

The torrential rain over The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge‘s Angelesy farmhouse home meant their helicopter was delayed taking off for the match between Wales and New Zealand.

‘We’re so sorry we are late. We tried to be as fast as we possibly could but the weather held us up,’ Wills, 30, explained.

‘We’ve had a river running down the side of the house. All the water off the mountain just came running down.’

Kate, looking cheery in a bright red LK Bennett coat, but the couple weren’t able to celebrate a home team win. Wales lost 10-33 to the Kiwis.
