Model will star in film adaptation of book
Emily Ratajkowski has announced that she’s landed her first major movie role.
The stunning model is set to star in the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s bestselling thriller Gone Girl and will appear alongside several big name actors.
The story centres on Ben’s character Nick Dunne and the mysterious disappearance of his wife Amy.
It’s thought that Emily will play college student Andie, who has an affair with Nick and later tries to help Amy’s family prove that Nick had something to do with her vanishing.
Emily, who shot to fame in Robin Thicke‘s saucy Blurred Lines video, has previously had acting roles in Nickelodeon kids’ TV show iCarly and more recently in hit comedy series New Girl.
Gone Girl will be directed by Oscar-nominated David Fincher and production starts over the autumn.
