Ex-model wants to take part in 2014 games

Heather Mills wants to represent Britain in the 2014 Winter Paralympics.

Sir Paul McCartney‘s ex-wife showed how athletic she is on Dancing On Ice and now longs to win a gold medal for skiing.

‘I’m training hard to try to get on the British Paralympic downhill team,’ says Heather, 42.

‘You know when you set in your head things that you want to do and achieve? Well, I’ve ticked about 90 per cent of all the boxes, and this is one of the major ones remaining for me…

‘Having loved sport my whole life, competing in a Paralympics would be a dream come true.’

Heather lost her left leg after being knocked down by a police motorcycle in 1993 but she has remained active ever since.

‘Originally I was asked to try out for the British Paralympic cycling team,’ she tells the Sunday Express.

‘My times were good, but I got very bored being on my bike every morning.’
