The Script's Danny O'Donoghue has downloaded a dating app to find love

Danny O’Donoghue from The Script is so keen to find a partner that he’s downloaded dating app Tinder.

The singer is hoping to come across his perfect girl but hasn’t had the chance to swipe left or right yet because he’s been too reluctant to actually browse the app so far.

When asked if the members of the band would be loved up for Christmas he admitted that only he and bandmate Glen Power would be on their own.

‘Oh, hell yeah!’ Danny replied when asked if they were looking for love. ‘I’ve been going on dates, chasing women in the street…’

Glen added: ‘I downloaded dating app Tinder!’ Before Danny shared that Glenn concealed his identity by using an image showing the band’s front man.

‘He used mine… [To Glen] Don’t lie!’ Danny blurted out about the boys teaming up to find romance. And it seems Danny, 34, is also keen on explore the world of finding a partner online.

‘I have Tinder. I have it downloaded on my phone, I just haven’t set it up yet. I think it would be really funny to just go on there and see what it is,’ the Irish star told Metro newspaper.
‘I would like to have something long term. Although I am happy being single, it’s not like I’m out having one-night stands.’

The former The Voice coach dated 30-year-old model Irma Mali for four years before splitting in 2012. The No Good in Goodbye crooner confessed he is worried about the rumour mill ruining his chances of a relationship.

‘I definitely come pre-introduced if they have read some story about me. It’s imaginary baggage which a lot of the time isn’t true.

‘They might get this warped view of me as being someone who is a fashion photographer who likes boxing and I want to beat up Jarvis Cocker and I hate The X Factor – which is all wrong.’
