Miaow! Louis Walsh gets catty about Cheryl but Chezza HITS BACK

The X Factor 2015 is being shaken up BIG time and judge Louis Walsh has spilled the beans on some of this year’s changes.

Speaking about the show’s judging panel, 62-year-old Louis opened up about the future of singer, Cheryl Fernandez Versini, who has been a firm favourite on The X Factor for several years.

Although Cheryl, 31, has previously been dubbed the nation’s sweet heart, Louis admitted:

‘Cheryl wasn’t great last year, she’s sometimes lazy and lacks energy.’

Louis, who explained that Cheryl is ‘irrelevant these days’, added:

‘Personally, I’d rather have Mel B on the panel, I love her – but that’s not going to happen. I’d like to see Nicole Scherzinger back, but I don’t suppose Cheryl would work with her.’

Ooh, it just gets cattier!

Former Girls Aloud star Cheryl has since hit back on Twitter and took to the social media site on Tuesday writing:

I am beginning to wonder if Louis has some kindof an obsession with me…

She then wrote:

I mean this is every year whether I am or am not a part of the show,’ adding:

‘..and btw..this is the same man asking me what he should say to contestants on our way to the stage bc “he doesn’t know”.

Cheryl didn’t stop there. Oh no no no. The gorgeous brunette then posted:

Dear Lou Lou. Try using your mouth to say something positive abt something positive.’

Things are getting feisty!

Anywho. Back to Louis who spoke about the exciting rumours claiming Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw is set to take a seat on this year’s panel. (Fingers crossed this IS true…)

‘I think Simon’s (Cowell) got grimmy in mind, definitely- he’s thinking three boys and Cheryl on the panel. Grimmy is amazing – I think he and I would be really good fun on the panel,’ said Louis, speaking to Heat magazine.

Louis also revealed the truth about THOSE sacking rumours. Last week, it was reported that Mr Walsh has actually been sacked from the judging panel after 11 years on the reality show.

Louis admitted:

‘Listen, I’ve spoken to Simon – he was on the phone to me for half an hour at 2am and we talk all the time. He wants me on the show.’

He added:

‘I was never sacked, that’s the truth. That story was rubbish.’

Despite this, Louis is pretty busy in other areas – launching his own talent agency in Dublin and a new band, HomeTown.
