Here are some need-to-know facts about I'm A Celebrity dark-horse, Jimmy Bullard
Last night saw the
epic return of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here, and whilst we’re fairly clued
up on most of this year’s contestants, we were a bit dumbfounded about
ex-footballer, Jimmy Bullard.
found himself in Group A on Sunday evening’s show, and after enjoying a
night of hotel luxury, he entered the jungle-style prison.
Aside from his
shaggy mop of grey hair, possessing an Albert Square-style cockney accent and
having an obvious fear of crabs, as proven by his mini-challenge alongside Melanie Sykes, we don’t really know much else about the East-End geezer.

1. He has a sporty past…
played for Peterborough, Wigan, Fulham, Hull and Ipswich, in 2012, Jimmy signed
for league One team, Milton Keynes Dons. Five weeks later, at the age of 33, he
retired from football due to a persistent knee injury.
2. He has an,
Jimmy the joker
has previously described his manhood as resembling a worm.
really embarrassing, seriously, it’s really not very big. After following David
Haye in the shower, it could be embarrassing. It’s so small. It’s thin, it’s
not small, it’s just thin,’ he admitted. Good to know.
3. He’s a real family
Jimmy and his
fiancée, Diane, have two children together, Archie and Beau.
even said: ‘My amazing missus, along with my two fantastic kids, are the

4. If he hadn’t been
…Jimmy was close
to becoming a fireman. Yup, two of the least-alike jobs, like, ever.
Unfortunately though, he failed the written test. Doh.
Jimmy also worked
as a painter and decorator with his dad, Jim, 63, AND he even had a stint as a
Sky fitter before breaking into footie.
5. He knows what
makes a good present…
In 2009, the
dad-of-two bought his father, Jim, The One Bell pub in Crayford as a thank you
for all his help in becoming a football star. Well that’s raised the bar for
this year’s Christmas gift-buying.
6. He doesn’t read
describes himself as a ‘magazine man’, Jimmy obviously doesn’t read the
greatest magazine on the shelves…
‘I read Match
Fishing magazine, Pole Fishing magazine, Angling Times, Golf World and Golf
Monthly,’ he admitted.
