Set your TVs - Zayn Malik's going on the Graham Norton show!

Ever since quitting One Direction back in March 2015 (our hearts are still healing, btw), Zayn Malik has not given TV interview. Though recent talks with some US magazines gave us a bit of insight into Zayn’s post-1D world, conversations back in Blighty is a rare treat.

Until now – rejoice all, as it has been announced that Zayn will be giving his first TV interview in more than a year and a half, to none other than Graham Norton!

Zayn’s appearance on the BBC show will air on Friday 29th January at 10.35pm, and people are already buzzing with anticipation on what the interview segment will reveal.

There’s hope for some 1D-related chat – now the other boys are on hiatus, maybe this will be their chance to all sit down over a pot of tea and catch up?

Or, perhaps not: speaking to Billboard in November, he revealed that contact with the boys was sadly lacking, despite his wanting to stay in touch:

‘I had every intention of remaining friends with everybody, but I guess certain phone numbers have changed and I haven’t received calls from a lot of people.

‘I’ve reached out to a few of them and not got a reply. Certain people have pride issues, but it’s stuff you overcome in time.’

There’s also hope that he’ll fill us in a little about his burgeoning relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The pair have been dating since late November, and all looks rosy for the moment – Gigi’s phone screensaver is a picture of Zayn’s face. Young love, eh?

And of course, we might get to find out some more about his upcoming solo album – we long for the day when we can hear those sweet vocals once again.

Joining Zayn on Graham’s sofa next week is Will Smith, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Toby Jones – with music from Laura Mvula.

Our TVs are already on record – this one looks unmissable!
