It's not all fun and games being Zoella
If you thought it was all trips to Topshop and MAC makeup hauls being one of these beauty blogger/vlogger people, then I’m afraid you’re sadly mistaken.
Where as web celebs such as Zoella, Tanya Burr and Alfie Deyes have been hidden away online for the majority of their careers so far – as they continue their inevitable transition into being actual proper celebrities, it isn’t without its problems.
Something which Queen of the Internet Zoe Sugg, 24, also known as Zoella, has detailed in a new online documentary titled ‘The Creators.’
Zoe revealed: ‘Sometimes I feel it would be nice to have a bit more privacy. I have some viewers that know where I live and they stand outside.’
‘I know they have the best intentions, but it is quite scary. I get notes posted on my windscreen wipers and through my letterbox.’
Not cool, guys.
Just because Zoella opens her life up online doesn’t mean she’s going to open up her front door – and standing in her garden having a peep as she rolls around the house just isn’t acceptable.
Nor is it acceptable to do that to, well, anybody? Unless they’re your friends. And they’ve invited you round. But in that case, why would you be waiting in the garden?
The trolling side of her life online is also something that occasionally gets Zoe down, stating: ‘I’ll post a video and it might get 10,000 comments and I’ll scroll through and they’ll all be lovely and nice – but then they’ll be one saying ‘I hate you, I’m unsubscribing’ and that’s the one that sticks out and stays on your mind all day.’
It’s not all doom and gloom though!
If it wasn’t for the Internet Zoe wouldn’t have met her adorable boyfriend Alfie who she now lives with, and have you seen their love story in pictures? If not, get clicking!
