What's going on with Kate Middleton, Prince William and Baby Wales this week?

Every week in the Royal Bump Watch Newsletter, we bring you the latest Kate Middleton and Prince William news, as well as what’s going on with HRB (Her Royal Babyness) Baby Wales – yes, it’s a ‘she’ week!

With roughly 14 weeks to go, Kate may be experiencing some of the less fun aspects to pregnancy – back pain, leg cramps, headaches and pressure on and around the pelvis. Baby Wales moving around could also cause pain beneath Kate‘s ribs.

But how’s our future Queen getting on in there? Time to get the ruler and the scales out…

How long is she? From crown-to-rump, Baby Wales is about 23cm long – that’s the same height as a 500ml bottle of Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero (aka Bloke Coke).

How much does she weigh?
About 850g. A tin of Celebrations weighs 855g…

What’s she up to? Baby Wales will respond to touch and sound. Her pulse will quicken when she hears noise, and she can move in rhythm to music! She also has complete eyebrows.

Amazing fact! Prince William (and anyone else who gets near enough) might be able to hear Baby Wales‘ heartbeat if he puts his head on Kate‘s stomach!
