Congratulations Cheryl Cole! Now, where do you find a man to marry in just three months?

WHAT? Was my response when I heard the news that Cheryl Cole has married her French lover Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini (try saying his name after a Sunday spent drinking Pimms) after just three months of dating.

Three months!

Now, I’m not saying she rushed into things but locking down a man after three months is some feat. In fact, I take my wedding hat off to Ms Cole. Or should that be Mrs Fernandez-Versini?

‘I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news… Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together,’ Cheryl said on her Instagram after news of the Mustique nuptials had broken.

Well, it’s been four years since she divorced love rat husband Ashley Cole and it didn’t work out with dancers Derek Hough or Tre Holloway so why not tie the knot with a dishy Frenchman?

But it got me thinking. I’m single. I’m looking for love. So why not set a Cheryl style deadline?

Hitting up internet dating, the local bars and using the ‘Have you got any decent single friends’ line on my mates, why shouldn’t I be loved-up and married this autumn?

If Jean-Bernard, or JB as Cheryl likes to call him, is ready to settle down after just 90 days of dating, why shouldn’t any man I get my mitts on?

Sure, she’s a millionaire popstar with Hollywood looks and an arse that looks like a rose garden, but I’ve got plenty going for me too. Like singing Love Machine on karaoke and using L’Oreal products because I’m worth it too.

Now I’m off to trawl the Internet for the future Mr Millington
