Not content with upsetting Adele, Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld unleashes catty attack on Royal sister

Wow. Here’s one man I don’t want to meet.

First Karl Lagerfeld calls our six-time Grammy award winner Adele ‘a little too fat’.

And now the grandfather of fashion has turned his sharp tongue on another one of our national treasures – Pippa Middleton.

The rest of the world might have dubbed her sister ‘Her Royal Hotness‘, and FHM readers even voted her the World’s 11th Sexiest Woman, but the white-haired Mr Chanel is certainly not a fan.

The 78-year-old unleashed a scathing attack on Pippa, during the launch of his Covent Garden beauty boutique last week, calling the Royal sister ugly.

He started nice, saying: ‘Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy.
‘I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.’

But here comes the point where he sticks the knife in: ‘On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don’t like the sister’s face. She should only show her back.’

OUCH. OUCH and TRIPLE OUCH.

Not only does Karl say Pippa ‘struggles’ with her looks (who does this man think he is?), he can’t even be bothered to say her name when he’s cussing her with his sharp tongue.

Then to go as far as to say she should hide her face from public – well that is just downright rude.

Now I know Pippa isn’t proper royalty, and after the ‘gun incident’ in Paris she isn’t exactly my favourite Middleton, but I do believe Karl should show a little more respect.

He may work with some of the so-called most beautiful women in the world, but he has to remember that not everyone is a size zero waif with cheekbones sharp enough to slice cheese.

In fact maybe if Karl and his buddies could learn to embrace more natural beauties like Pippa, he would do the normal women of the world a huge service.
